Our Activities and History
For more than 15 years, we have been active under the Kiteforce banner and now also as Sailing Team. During this time, we have organized or co-organized dozens to hundreds of different events — from small local training sessions and weekend meetups to races, kite trips, expeditions, training camps, lectures, and international sports projects. Courses and teaching days alone have reached the hundreds, and a large number of riders and athletes of all levels have taken part in our activities.
We have been organizing races in several powerkiting disciplines for many years and are among the most active organizers of snowkiting, landkiting, and kiteboarding events in the Czech Republic. Since 2010, we have been organizing the SNOWKITING STORM races in locations such as Adolfov and Lipno. Since 2011, we have also organized the Czech Landkiting Championship, most recently as part of KITEFEST Panenský Týnec. In addition to races, we have organized numerous training camps, team-building events, workshops, and public lectures focused on kiting and expeditions.
Expedition and sports trips across Europe and beyond are an important part of our history. We have organized kite trips to destinations such as Norway, Tyrol, Sicily, Morocco, and Oman, and we have also participated in world cups, world championships, and extreme expedition races, including the Varanger Arctic Kite Enduro, TOKE, and other WISSA (World Ice and Snow Sailing Association) and IKA (International Kiteboarding Association) events. Our activities have always connected racing, adventure, community, and the desire to discover new places and conditions.
